In a modern world suffering from overpopulation, where the land is being stripped, the food processed and poisoned, the medicine often causing more harm than good, it’s important to return to the roots that guided our evolution. The natural ways which worked for hundreds of generations before us is still alive and well, and our family is here to offer insight into how plant medicines can improve your everyday wellness.
Woodland Herbal Apothecary is hosting a 3-hour hands-on workshop, taught by our family of Herbalists. Woodland Herbal is made up of four generations of Herbalists who specialize in creating plant-based natural remedies, natural body care, and more. This comprehensive workshop will go over a wide range of topics and teachings about all things Herbalism, including how to make plant medicines, how to grow and harvest herbs, recipe making, and much more, as well as a hands-on experience making teas, tinctures, extracts, and salves. All attendees will take home a goodie bag of herbal goodness, too.
This Herbalism Workshop will be held on July 27th from 9am to 12pm at Roscoe Village’s Lock Landing in the Visitor Center. This workshop is very limited and is open to ages 18+. All experience welcome! The non-refundable class fee is $30 and must be prepaid to Roscoe Village. Call Lynda at 740-622-7644 ext. 20 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to secure your spot today.
